Tonight is a big night for football around the Treasure Valley.
Too busy, if you ask me.
Tonight should be focused on the high school football state championship games being played at Bronco Stadium, Holt Arena in Pocatello and the Kibbie Dome in Moscow.
It is the biggest night of the year for high school football but some of that focus is taken away from those high school kids.

Idaho coach Robb Akey said Monday he wants his team to start a new winning streak this season — and against rival Boise State.
Idaho had won six of its last seven games before losing to Fresno State 31-21 on Saturday.

Others have stated Moore already is.

The parents of Idaho State receiver Andrew Benavides are expecting their son to make a full recovery from the spinal cord injury he suffered early in the second half of Saturday's 40-12 loss at Northern Arizona.
Benavides, a 5-foot-7, 167-pound freshman from Santa Rosa, Calif., remains hospitalized at Flagstaff (Ariz.) Medical Center.

Boise State president Bob Kustra hasn't been affraid to speak out against the Bowl Championship Series.
Kustra has actually been quite vocal about college football's current system for picking its national champion and big-money game participants.
On Wednesday, Kustra was backing Utah Sen. Orrin Hatch, who wants President Barack Obama to ask the Justice Department to look into the BCS.

WAC commissioner Karl Benson said Monday that if two teams ahead of Boise State in the BCS standings lose, the Broncos deserve to move up in the standings.
Benson said strength of schedule is often "an easy way to eliminate a team," from the national championship picture.

The Boise State Broncos are a lock for their second Bowl Championship Series berth in four seasons, right?
As Lee Corso says: not so fast, my friend.
The Broncos still have plenty of work to do and will need some help along the way.

Boise State's football team has earned its highest ranking ever.
The Broncos are ranked No. 4 in the BCS standings, which were released Sunday afternoon.
It was the first BCS rankings released this season.

Boise State football fell one spot in this week's Associated Press poll, but moved back up to No. 5 in the recently released USA Today Top 25 coaches' poll.
For the second straight week, the Boise State football team dropped one spot in a national poll.
Boise State (6-0) fell one spot in this week's Associated Press Top 25 to No. 6.
