This week can only be described as a "bummer" for mountain bike racers. The 2009 Knobby Tire Mountain Bike Series was canceled. Promoter Davey Moore said taking a new job made it "very difficult to manage work, home, life and the mountain bike series" in 2008 - the sixth year of KTS.
