As a woman in today's world, we are constantly bombarded with things to help us stop aging. I have to admit I go from one day looking at all the options, to the next day thinking I am at a stage I don't need to worry about it anymore. But if the truth be told, I am still not ready to throw in the towel, and if there are things I can do to look younger, I'm all over it
The problem comes when we don't know what works or doesn't work. There are a ton of creams, lotions, vitamins, food products, spas, exercises, infomercials, you name it, it is out there, and someone is always anxious to take your money in return for their fountain of youth. So how do we know what will work for us?
Well you guys are not going to believe this, but I think I found my own personal fountain of youth. Yes, I said it out loud, and I don't want you to tune me out, I almost did and it would have been a huge mistake. I'm not a spokesperson for this company, I have no affiliation with them whatsoever, I just know many friends who I feel could benefit extremely from this, so please read on.
I have a friend, Jamie Wood, who started doing one of those direct sale home party type things. I was less than excited, in fact, I didn't even go to the party she had. I felt bad, but one more friend selling one more product was not high on my interest list. (I am sure many of you have friends who start selling stuff and you groan when you get that little card with the invitation, so you know what I mean!)
While all this was going on, we were actually painting the exterior of her home, so of course I saw her the first thing the next morning. When I apologized to her for missing the party, she once again told me that she was excited about this new product. I completely dismissed it, the last thing I wanted was to try one more skin care or makeup line.
But I was soon to learn this was not a series of cleansers and toners and lotions and eye creams, etc., etc., etc!!! Still unsure of exactly what we were talking about, I expressed to her I was happy with my skin care line. She assured me this was an all over body treatment with benefits to your face, arms, thighs, jelly belly, etc.
Then she made the move that was so genius in its marketing skill, I still haven't gotten over it. She whipped her pants down (remember, I did say we were friends) and showed me her thighs. My mouth fell open, and I was in shock. How fast can I get one?! She had been treating one thigh only to use as a demonstration for the home parties she was doing, and there could never have been a better promotion.
You know how no matter your size, at a certain age you would like to be able to pull the skin of your legs up just like panty hose? It would smooth the lines, still the jiggles, and give an overall lift to the look of your thighs? Well that is the way the one thigh she was treating looked, like she had grabbed it and pulled everything up.
You know the sayings, the proof is in the pudding, a picture tell a thousand words, gotta see it to believe it, well I had just experienced all those, and I had to have the system. I couldn't believe I almost shined her on without even listening, and I was grateful she had ignored my disinterest.
So, I have started my own treatments, a week into them so far, and I am VERY satisfied with the results. And it is amazing how you will find time to do something when you are seeing results! The bottom line, it is a home version of a "galvanic" spa treatment, which has been around for 50 years, and uses a mild electrical current to cleanse and rejuvenate the skin. For more information, you can contact Jamie, I am posting her link so you can find it. She can get you lined up with your own system. Don't pay attention to pricing, etc., on the website, there are all kinds of package deals so it is a little deceiving.
Jamie and her husband are spending their 25th wedding anniversary in Mexico in December. I will never forget her husband laughing, "You will fix that other leg before we go, won't you hon?" From my heart I am telling you to check this out!
