The Boise State Broncos moved up from No. 6 to No. 5 in the latest Associated Press poll, released Sunday.
Only Florida, Texas, Alabama and Cincinnati are ahead of the Broncos. Oregon, whom Boise State beat Sept. 3, moved from No. 10 to No. 7 after routing USC. Idaho received two points in the poll.
Boise State stayed fifth in the USA Today coaches' poll, trailing Florida, Texas, Alabama and TCU, which jumped the Broncos after being sixth last week. Idaho received eight points in the poll.
