Whether you are a mom, dad, grand-mom, grandpa, student, you have a story, (or two), to tell and memories you hold close to your heart. With our busy schedules, we do not always have the time, the patience, or the desire to clean up after creating scrapbook pages, or the time to shop around to get the materials needed to scrapbook. We DO seem to have the time to sit before our computer. There is a way to share your story, your memories, while clicking away in cyber space.

Meet Digital Scrapbooking. Today, I was introduced to a WHOLE new world using the technique of Digital Scrapbooking called, Photo Journaling. It seems quite simple, and what a keepsake for those you share, and want to share, a slice of life with. There is a multi-faceted world in Digital Scrapbooking to learn about, but once you get the hang of it, think of all of the possibilities. You can literally share personalized, customized pages of photos, adding a story to each picture, keeping friends and family who live at a distance, in the loop, while capturing one-of-a-kind memories to keep.

What if you are the lucky one to experience the "firsts" first smiles, first steps, first kisses and all you have is words to share for milestones reached that will not happen twice. Just by using your digital camera, downloading the pictures to your computer, you can recreate the story in your own words with pictures as proof, add the embellishments, the magic, and put it in a blog, an email, or print it and put it in snail mail. I have said enough; and for now I am leaving you with the links to get started, and I am going to get over to the website myself, and start creating my little one's photo journals. Photo Journaling is a treasure that will last a lifetime and will capture life as it unfolds.
