Before I let you all know which way I'm leaning for tonight's game, I've got one thought ...

After driving home from the office early Thursday morning (shortly after midnight), if finally hit me — this really is a big game. Sure it's a big game for BCS reasons, but here's why I know now it's huge in our community.

In all my time driving home from work the night before a Boise State home game, I never saw a banner on an overpass of I-84 show such community sprit. According to the banner, we're in Bronco Country (or Bronco Nation as the sign suggested). It said that to remind traveling Duck fans on thier last leg before reaching the stadium. I usually don't think much about this sort of thing, but for some reason, this stood out to me and made me understand how much this game — win or lose — means to the Treasure Valley.

The sign over the Franklin overpass in Nampa also welcomed the visiting ducks, a nice touch.

I've seen most every game played at Bronco Stadium this decade, and seeing something like that tells me that this truly is a special game.

So which team will win? You can read that here. I would like to note that I was trying to have fun with the final score.
