Here are a couple of interesting posts about the upcoming final Design Star Episode and don't forget to read my preview. I interview both Dan and Antonio for the final episode.

A preview blog at HGTV: It all comes down to this! We started with 11 talented designers and now Antonio and Dan will go head-to-head this week to design an ENTIRE house.

Daniel and Antonio created T-shirts as part of a fundraiser. A portion of the proceeds benefits our non-profit partners in HGTV's Change the World, Start at Home initiative. You can buy one or both of them at HGTV.

Two final "fun" photos have been posted for some "caption this" at HGTV.

From the Hub: You might imagine someone elegant or urbane, blending into any dinner party. You wouldn't imagine Antonio Ballatore, one of the two finalists in Sunday's "Design Star."

Big and bearded, Ballatore has lots of tattoos and macho charm. "Sometimes, when I roll in, they say, 'This must be the wrong guy,' " he said.

You wouldn't imagine the other finalist, either. Dan Vickery is a bartender, a model, an architect, a designer and a former farmer.

These guys are opposites in many ways. Still, they share something. "We were thought of on the show as 'the construction guys,' " Vickery said. Read the whole story.

From the Oregonion: A recap and a look forward.

From the Herald Tribune on Jason Champion's experience on Design Star: How's this for an evaluation? "You're like a big fluffy creampuff that I just want to put in my lunch box and take out and snack on ya every once in a while."

From Fu for Thought, a great interview with Lonni Paul. And there's my interview with Lonni here. And the info on her last design if you really liked that grass wallpaper.
